Bardia Jungle Safari- An exploration to the southwest of Terai National Park “ Bardia National Park.”
The BardiaNationaPark (1988 AD) lies in the Terai Region and covers 968 sq. km. It is 585 km far from Kathmandu and is the largest and unspoiled wilderness of Southern Nepal. The best way to explore Bardia National Park is through the Jungle Safari.
Bardia Jungle Safari is the least examined excursion by the abroad tourist. This national park is rich in Sal Jungle and a mixture of grassland and savannah forest. It contains different types of ecosystems. The park is home to many species of wildlife like the One-horned Rhinoceros, wild Asian Elephant, Swamp Deer, Bengal Tiger, Gagentic Dolphin, endangered Bengal Florican, and many others. According to WWF, Bardia National Park has been playing a major role in preserving the Bengal tiger and increasing their number. The National Park is an ideal region for the indigenous group, the Tharu.
The best time to have a Bardia Jungle Safari is mid-September to mid-December and then from start of the February till the end of May.

Day 1
We receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and lead you to the hotel. We take a rest and explore the nearby heritage of Kathmandu valley like Basantapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple. Later, we discuss and prepare for our exploration to Bardia National Park.

Day 2
We take a flight to Nepaljung early morning and take ride to Bardia National Park. After reaching there, we experience an elephant ride and visit wildlife of the park, its center, Tharu cultural museum and Crocodile breeding center. This region offers us a plenty of photographic scenery.

Day 3
We explore other wildlife via jungle walk then take a Jeep ride. Jeep ride gives us good opportunities to see different wild mammals like Bengal tiger and other species of animal as we march into the jungle. We can see Dolphin as we proceed to the Karnali River.

Day 4
We take a flight back to Kathmandu. As per you interest we can extend this day for further excursion to the Kathmandu city. Else, we have a warm farewell and take you to the airport for your departure.
