This journey leads travelers to the astonishing valley Langtang. The valley is decorated with the indigo-colored mountains lakes, gigantic and snowcapped mountains. The region is unspoiled and offers trekkers a mesmerizing view and experience. The area lies to the north of Kathmandu valley in the Himalayan region. The valley is blessed by the Mt. Langtang Lirung (7246 m), the tallest peak of this region. Some of the famous peaks of this region are Langtang Luriung (7,234 m/ 23,734 ft.), Langtang Ri (7,205 m/ 23 638 ft.), Dorje Lakpa (6,996 m/ 22,854 ft.) and much others. Langtang National Park established in 1976 AD and as the foremost Himalayan National park offers a variety of fauna and floras, blooming rhododendron and bamboo. Some of the rare and endangered species like Red panda and other animals are the true blessing of the Langtang region. A glimpse of these beauties is one of the vigilant moment and capture.

Our exploration in the Langtang region includes Kyanjin Gompa (3800m), Sherpa locality and Cheese factory. We can find the finest quality of cheese in Langtang made from Yaks. People from this region are well known for their kind gesture and hospitality. Sherpa’s tradition, their unique culture, and lifestyle revive every traveler’s curiosity. The 360-degree mountain views are truly spectacular and amazing.

Further exploration of the Gosaikunda Lake at the elevation of 4,380 m (14,370 ft.) carries both the religious and natural importance. This lake holds the religious values to the Hindus and Buddhist pilgrims. In a literal theology, Gosaikunda Lake was formed after Lord Shiva took the poison. The other beautiful lake in the region is Bhairava Kunda.
Our other destination Helambu offers plenty of opportunities to study Tibetan Buddhist culture. The main inhabitants here are Sherpa and Tamang. This region starts from Laurbina La pass (4,610 m / 15,120 ft.) and falls to the Melamchi valley. Helambu is popular for sweet apples and Buddhist monasteries and pilgrimage sites. The best time to travel Langtang Gosaikunda and Helambu region is during October to May. The trek is of moderate range. Trekkers with good physical condition of age above 10 years old can attain this journey.

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport,Transfer to Hotel

We welcome and receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport and lead you to the hotel with the short details of the trek.

Day 2: ? Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1,462m/4,795ft) Duration: 7 hours

We have a beautiful ride on a four-wheel vehicle around scenic foothills. We capture a gigantic Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills from Trishuli river bank. We pass over Dhunche to reach Syabru Besi.

Day 3: Trek from Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2,500m/8,200ft) Duration: 5 hour

On our first day of the trek, we cross Bhote Khosi tracing Langtang Khola. We mount to Ramche (2400m). We may encounter Red Pandas, Bears and Monkey while trekking.

Day 4: Trek onwards Lama Hotel to Mundu (3,550m/11,645ft) Duration: 5-6 hours

We set forward fo Ghoda Tables, a well-acknowledged horse table at Gumanechok. Then, we gradually head to Mundu. Mundu is a small settlement region.

Day 5: March from Mundu to Kyanjing RI (4,773m/15,655ft) and fall back to Kyanjing Gompa (3,798m/12,495ft) Duration: 7-8 hours

Today, we cross LAja Khola and head up to moraine. We can see the spellbinding ice fall Kyanjing from the Langtang lirung and Kyanking Ri (4773 m) as well.

Day 6: Exploration of Kyangjuma Gompa and hike Chorkari RI (5,050m/16,564ft) Duration: 7 hours

We take rest and explore the surrounding of Kyangjuma Gompa. We sightsee monastery, cheese factory, appealing ice face and then ascend to Chorkari Ri (5050 m), Langtang peak

Day 7: March from Kyanjin Gompa up to the Lama Hotel (2,500m/8,200ft) Duration: 5-6 hours

We retrace our track to Lama Hotel. As we ahead we try to cover the views we missed earlier.

Day 8: Hike from Lama Hotel to the Thulo Syabru (2,235m/ 7,330ft) duration: 5-6 hours

We ascend to Thulo Syabru. We absorb astounding Langtang Himal, other neighbor peaks, pine and juniper forests.

Day 9: Hike from Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa (3,330m/10,925ft) Duration: 3-5 hours

We climb to Dimsa village. Rhododendron, Oak forest, and Hemlock entertain us till we get to Gumba. We also have an outlook of Langtang valley and Langtang Himal till we reach Shin Gompa. Shin Gompa is well known for cheese production.

Day 10: ?Hike from Shin Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,300m/14,104ft) Duration: 5-6 hours

We sightsee our surrounding Himalayas, green hills from the top of the Laurebinayak. After that, we pursue a rough road. All along the way, we will be captivated with the view of the Ganesh Himal range, Manaslu range, Tibetan peaks, and Langtang Lirung. We then finally reach and have a glance at sterling and sacred lake Gosaikunda, Bhairab Kunda and Saraswakikunda. The sensation gets exciting and pleasing.

Day 11: March from Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3,430m/11,250ft) via Laurebinayak Yak pass (4,610m/15,120 and ft.) duration: 6 hours

We climb the rough region and reach the small four lakes. The highest point of this region is Laurebinayak La (4610 m). We enjoy the spectacular view of Manaslu, Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal. We then descend to camp near Ghopte.

Day 12: March from Ghopte to Malemchigaon (2,560m/8,399ft) Duration: 6-7 hours

We track down a forest trail to arrive at a Kharka. The region is covered with the Rhododendron forest. We also have a stunning view of the Jugal area. Later, we descend to the Melamchi River and hike up to Malemchigaon.

Day 13: Hike from Malemchigaon to Tarkeghyang (2,590m/8,495ft) Duration: 5-7 hours

Our cultural destination Helambu region offers interesting sightseeing. We march to Tarkehyang and observe Sherpa culture, lifestyle, traditional village and beautiful monasteries.

Day 14: Trek from Tarkeghyang on the way to Shermathang (2,610m/8,560ft) period: 3-4 hours

After the inspection and observation of the Helambu region, we march ahead to a wide valley. Parachin and Gyangyul is a community that has appealing Sherpa culture. The sphere of this village is a religious practice from Buddhism Drukpa Kagyu.

Day 15: Descend from Shermathang to Melamchi Bazaar head towards Kathmandu: 3 to 4 hours hike and 2 hours ride

 We fall to the Melamchi bazar crossing Sherpa village. We catch a ride form Melamchi that takes us to the Kathmandu

Day 16: Escort to the Tribhuwan International Airport.

 We guide you to the international airport. We hope to meet again as a different destination waits for you for exploration.

Good to Know

1) Physical Fitness
One should be physically fit  before to do the any trekking and mountaineering. It is long hike so without any training the first two/three days will tough for you. So some basic physical fitness like  squat, Mountain climbers ( which can be done in home),running,biking , stair climbing,and swiming will help lot to do trekking  in the mountains, so it is highly recommanded  2/3 months prior to your departure for the trekking or mountaineering.

(2)Foods and Drinks
While in the mountain,  it is highly recommanded you to drink plenty of fluids like water,soups, teas  as well as foods. We will provide the sufficient and hygiene food as per your choice in whole trek.However some private snacks as chocolates bars, cookies are also highly recommanded which you can take from kathmandu or you can buy on the way in lodges or in shops.

(3)Drinking water

One should drink at least 3-4 litres of water every day in order to get  hydrated the body which helps lot to be away from altitude sickness.You can buy the bottled water all the way  cost from Rs 80 ( Which is equivalent to 80 cents )to Rs 200 (which is equivalent to 2 USD), but the bottled waters are not highly recommanded because as we are environmentally sensitive and also expensive.  We highly recommend you to carry the reusable water bottle and  buy boiled water in lodges/teahouse which also makes your sleeping bag very warm while going to bed, to use sterpin or take chlorine or iodine tablets  to purify the drinking water.

(4)Best time to Travel
Spring ( Mar-May)and Autumn ( Sep- Nov) are  known as best months to trek in Nepal becuase of the stable clear dry skies which permits to enjoy the spectacular mountain views but mostly lodges, hotels and trails are busy and crowded. Spring season is pleasant and suitable with warm tempreture for trekking and climbing the big mountains as well. At this time in every mountain there will be groups to climbing and conquering the summits. Untill end of october, the tempreture will be mild cold. Weather will be stable with clear blue sky, dry at the same time you will get the chance to experience the many hidus festivals like dashain and Tihar. In spring the rhododendron forest covering the whole area in Langtang valley.Winter and summer are also good if you would prefer less crowdy, and ready to face the some challanges like snow, cold, and rain.Even in winter weather will always be clear but the these three months are coldest month of the year and sometimes snow falls. In Summer, It is very good to do trekking, tempreture will be warm, those who are keen to botanist, summer is the best but the due to unstable weather the views of mountains are very rare.

5) Altitude Sickness
Trekking in Annapurna basecamp  is one of the popular   trekking in world.In high altitude , the mass of oxygen will be less, so everyone feels difficult to breath as well as mild headache, dizziness etc.This is one of the biggest challanges in mountain.In the altitude, there are many rules to make our body adaptable to the  altitude. Acclimatization is one of the important factor  to adjust our body get used to the altitude. All our itineries are designed with proper acclimatization.The most important rules that we have to follow in altitude is walk slowly, keep drinking plenty of  fluids as water , soups etc to make our body hydrated, and keep our body warm. Our staffs and guide will always do their best  as they can, eventhough incase of any sickness,injury one should avoid their rest trip and should come down.

(6)Travel Insurance
It is compulsory to buy the proper travel insurance policy with genuine insurance company, it should cover the emergency helicopter evacuation as well as medical treatment incase of severe injury or sickness and Policy  should include coverage at the altitudes up to 5500 Mtr.

(7)Bag pack and duffel bag
Our duffel bag should be maximum 15kg including hand bag. Only the neccesary things should be packed and the stuffs which are not neccesary on trek will be stored in hotel in Kathmandu.One porter will carry max 30 Kg,among two clients one porter will be provided.

(8)Internet Connectivity and cell phone Signal
As per your arrival in Kathmandu airport, there you can buy nepalese Sim card ncell or you can buy anywhere around city. In Langtang valley   Ncell signal works for phone call as well as internet connectivity in  some part of places.But there is well facility of internet wifi in every teahouses or lodges so You can enjoy with  social media or connects with your family, friends or loved one.

(9)Road to Shyabru Besi
Shyabru Besi  is entry gateway to trekking to  Langtang region. We use private well comfort vehicle for the trip to Langtang untill Shyabru besi and in same vehicle we will return back.

In mostly places toilet are  common and need to use the same toilet  using by everyone else. Mostly place there may not be available of hand washing water, so highly recommend to take hand sanitizer by yourself and most importantly toilet papers or wet tissue paper should always  be in your day bag.

(11)TIMS and National park permit
To enter in Langtang region  you have to buy Langtang national park  entry  permit and TIMS permit,the cost will be included in trip cost.Your guide will manage everything. For that you have to provide  2 passport sized photos.

(12)Guiding and staffing
In Langtang valley trek average walk per day is 4-5 hours. Leisurely and pleasant guiding will definitely take you to destination.  More you gaining altitude more hard to walk. Your experieced guide and porter will always be there to help you in every moment.Guide is the key factor for the every challanging in mountain so one should follow the instruction of guide pleasantly.Every day after dinner your guide will do brief about the next days trip.

(13) Budgeting
 Budegeting depends upon many factors specially in Kathmandu where there are too many choices.Hotels in Kathmandu include in trip cost on basis of BB plan. So average expenses per day in Kathmandu will be Rs 2000 for lunch and Dinner, if you prefer some other activities as  drinks, to do massage, or to go in bar/pub Rs 5000 ( equivalent to USD 50 ) is enough. On the trek, all the meals and hot drinks will be provided by company, Extra expeses as Hot shower, battery charging, wifi, boiled water for bottle, extra snacks  bars, Soft drinks and hard drinks should borne by  oneself,In average Rs 2000(eqivalent to 20 USD) is enough on the trek. Finally  few tipping is highly recomended and compulsory in the last day to your guide and porter as per your budgeting.

3)What permit do I need for the trek to Langtang region?
We have to get a permit of  Langtang national park entry permit .The entry permit costs around 1500 rupees ($15) per person.
4)How safe is Langtang region trek?
Safety is our first concern. As we provide the experienced guides and leaders for the  particular trip who are well trained about the high altitude sickness, first aid ,friendly attitude and ability to provide useful and  important instructions. All our itineraries are designed  with proper acclimatization days in order to reduce the risk of altitude sickness. In every group we provide the first aid kit bag incase of any injury and emergency.We make the proper decision according the regular updated weather report, if there is any chances of big snow falls or stroms, we decide and do the action as per the situation.
5)How is the lodging and fooding facilities in Langtang trek?
Along the trail to Langtang Trek, there are  well facilited lodges are available with various types of foods. We provide you  three meals a day with  your own choice. We always provide the seasonal fruits as well. We always book in lodges with well management and facilities.  if you buy single supplementory package you will get single room.
6)Is there any Phone signal and internet wifi facility on the way?
Ncell signal doesnt work at all the places but in lodge/tea house we can get the internet wifi facility
7)What is the normal tempreture in spring and Autumn season?
Spring season starts from March, but until third week  of march tempreture will still be cold even in day time. But actually tempreture depends on weather, if weatheris  mild tempreture ranges from 10-15 Degree Centigrate.If the weather is clear, days will be warm.After the April it will be warm with sunny weather. Especially in Morning and Evening  time will be little cold.
Autumn season starts from September, September will still be warm even the weather is not good. From october normally in morning and everning will be cold.
