Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel (1400 Mtr/4592 Ft)
Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airort, Our airport representative will be there with name board and drop us in hotel. After check in we may roaming out in Thamel,tourist hub in Kathmandu for some shoping of clothes or gears. . There will be a full trek briefing this evening .After that We will host the welcome dinner in excellent nepali restaurant.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After the breakfast our city tour guide with luxury vehicle will come to pick you up for the city sightseeing of some UNESCO world heritage sites including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of PashupatiNath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (BouddhaNath) which is one of the largest stupas in the world for half day.After that your free time for leisure and gear preparation for the trek.( Exchanging the money,shopping, gear check etc)
Day 3: Flight to Lukla (2840 Mtr/9315 Ft) and trek to Monjo(2835 Mtr/9299 Ft)
After the early breakfast, we will be transfer to domestic terminal airport for early morning flight to mountain airstrip of Lukla (2,800m) with beautiful views of Himalayan ranges if the weather permited.Upon arrival in Lukla,meet our staffs, start the first day trek with full of energy and enthusiasm.Heading northwards up the valley of the Dudh Kosi (or 'milk river').It takes about 4-5 hours get to Monjo which is same elevation of Lukla where we landed. We descend from the small plateau, down into the forested valley. The trail offers some tantalising views before reaching the small settlement of Phakding (2,652m), where we will have our lunch.Continue walk along the dudhKoshi river ,crossing several bridges brings us in Monjo in our Luxury Lodge.
Day 4: Trek to Namche(3440 Mtr/11283 Ft)
Heading towards the Namche, we follow the Dudh Kosi northwards.There is check point of Sagaramatha National parks Near by Monjo where we can take some important information about Sagaramatha national park.Todays walk takes us along the river through pine forest with some views of mountains as well. A final bridge brings us to the steep climb to Namche. Halfway up this ascent, if weather permited we get the chance to see the summit of Mount everest hiding behind Lhotse and Nuptse. After steep climb of 2 hours and ascents of 300 mtr climbing brings us to Namche. which is the centre of trade for the Sherpa people as it has been for hundreds of years.Namche is the main gateway of mount Everest.It has weekly market on friday afternoon and saturday Morning but the shops,supermarkets,trekking shops,Bakeries are open for all day and everyday.In Namche we will stay in one of the luxuries hotel named Yeti Mountain Home.
Day 5: Rest Day in Namche( 3440 Mtr/11283 Ft)
Today is rest day or acclimatization day for this trek.We will go to visit Tourist information center near the headquater of Sagaramatha National park where numerous educational displays on the culture, geography, geology, climatology, and wildlife within the park and the Khumbu. and Sherpa Museum where we can observe the history of mountaineering , Sherpa culture,customs and traditions.After the lunch rest day we do relax and just roaming and exploring around the market, enjoy in restaurant,bakery café.
Day 6: Trek to Everest View hotel(3963 Mtr/13000 Ft)
Today we will get out from Namche bazaar, first we will head on towards the Hillary view point (4100 Mtr).We climb steeply out of namche with passing syangboche airstrips, it takes about 1.5 hours to get there.From Hillary viewpoint we have opportunity to explore the scene of Mount Amadablam, Thamserku,Khangtega etc. Just below there are twin villages called Khumjung and Khunde which are known as twin green valley.In the north,we have giant rocky mountain called Khumbila, which is khumbu country diety and sacred as well.Descending through the forest we come to Khunde, where we have lunch,visit the Khunde Monastery and Edmund Hillary hospital.After lunch, we walk down to Khumjung where we visit khumjung Monastery to see the Yeti's Skull and the Hillary school. Khumjung Monastery is one of the oldest monastery of Khumbu, it was badly destroyed by recent earthquake but is now being constructed. After all we head towards the hotel Everest View which is 40 minutes from Hilary school Khumjung. Hotel Everest view is one of the oldest hotel in Khumbu which was established in 197.The hotel offers a 360 degree view of the awe inspiring peaks. With a view of Mt. Everest from every room,
Day 7: Trek to Tashinga (3450 Mtr/11316 Ft)
Today is the short and easy trek, After the late breakfast we descend down toward the main trail of Mount Everest basecamp.The trail takes all the way down to Tashinga without steep climb. After check in comfort luxury hotel, we have free time to relax and explore the nature.From Tashinga we have splendid views of the world’s highest mountains. Mt Everest pokes its head out above the high ridges of Mt Nuptse and Lhotse, whilst Ama Dablam stands omnipotent over the valley.
Day 8: Trek to Deboche(3820 Mtr12530 Ft)
After the breakfast we descend into the deep Dudh Koshi Gorge, after crossing the suspension bridge climb steeply to the famous Tyangboche.Where there is Monastery which is most popular and spiritual and training center for new monks of the khumbu. We spend about one hours to visit monastery,after the lunch we descend down through Fir forest towards Deboche which is only half an hour. Deboche is the place which is covered by fir and rhododendron forest which is in full bloom in our pre monsoon trips,best place ever to adjust your body in altitude.
Day 9: Trek to Pangboche(3930 Mtr/12890 Ft)
Today also very short trek , We gradually climb to the tree line into the sub alpine regions .The trail follows continue through forest until the suspension bridge to cross the Imja khola . After bridge gradually steep climb of 40 minutes bring us to this beautiful and warm village named Pangboche.After check in and having lunch, we have time to visit one of the oldest Monastery of Khumbu, which is believed to be built in 350 years ago.
Day 10: Trek to Dingboche(4410 Mtr/14465 Ft)
Dingboche is just two an hours easy walk from Pangboche.We gradually climb above the tree line into the sub-alpine regions and green plain pasture with yaks grazing land ..Ascending the Imja valley in gradual walk with beautiful mountain's scene of Lhotse , Nuptse and Mount Amadablam.,we walk all way on pastureland ,crossing the river,steep climb of one hour bring us in this beautiful valley. Dingboche is the only village in Khumbu which is properly closed for 2 months in summer and this is the only place of growing barley in khumbu.
Day 11: Rest Day in Dingboche
We spend another day in Dingboche for acclimatization. We climb up to Ngangkarsang Peak (5083 Meter) to be adjust well in altitude and great views of Mount Makalu,Cholatse,Taboche,Amadablam and so on.We come down for lunch , today going to be late lunch, so recomanded to carry some snacks bar.After lunch free time to relax,Showers and coffee with cakes.
Day 12: Trek to Lobuche(4930 Mtr/16170 Ft)
Two more days to get to Everest basecamp,coming two days going to be bit tougher than as usual.The track climbs steeply up along the arid terrace is awarding with awesome views of mountains on all sides and ascends the valley gradually to Dugla at the end of the moraine of Khumbu Glacier.Where we have lunch before steep climb up to Memorial place,where there is line of memorial in tribute to the climbers who have died in Everest.As we come to a yak herder's place called Dusa, the valley begins to narrow and we continue through Phulung Kharka the camp sites during first successful Everest Expedition in 1953.Continue walk along the Khumbu glacier from left side of 1 more hour with infront views of Mount Khumbutse,Lingtren,Pumori brings us to Lobuche (4910 Meter). In afternoon we have options to climb up to 5000 Mtr to see khumbu glacier.
Day 13: Trek to Gorakshep ( 5160 Mtr/16925 Ft )and Day trip to EBC (5365 Mtr/17597 Ft)
Today is the longest and hardest day of the trip and going to reach in our final destination. We leave quite early along the Khumbu Glacier in right side. After one hour walk of gradual , we climb steep for 20 Minutes and trail follows up and down in moraine and some steep sections all the way to Gorakshep (5185 Meter).Where we have quick lunch and with some snakes bar ,enough water , we hit for the basecamp for another 2.5 hours walk to basecamp.Climb onto a moraine of khumbu glacier, Continuing straight ahead up an down walk in 3 hours bring us in Everest basecamp.In Spring season, Everest basecamp can be seen as small tented city,but in rest season, we can rarely see some expedition group to Everest or Lhotse.We spend here for photo click with basecamp rock and ice, enjoying the view of Khumbu Ice fall then we move our steps to Gorakshep.
Day 14: Trip to Kalapather (5545 Mtr/18187 Ft) ,Heli ride to Kathmandu
We still have another hard day for the best view of Mount everest from Kalapathar ( Means Black Rock ),as we climb steeply quite early with cup of tea and biscuits,after climbing of 2 hours from Gorakshep we reach in the summit of Kalapathar,We spent short time to take pictures of world highest mountains and khumbu glacier,then we return to Gorakshep for breakfast.Then we have a helicopter ride with mountain flight of Gokyo Valley.We will directly come to Kathmandu.
Day 15: Free time in Kathmandu for shopping
Day 16: Departure for homeland
